A portrait or fashion shoot can be a very intimate time.  I usually try to meet my clients face to face to discuss their photographic requirements prior to photographing them, that way there is already a trust before the shoot starts. To get the best out of my models it is important for them to be relaxed and feel comfortable in front of the camera and also in my presence.
